This month we spoke with our IT and Web Maintenance guru, Stephen Smith.

Where I live

I currently live in Burlington, ON, Canada.

What’s my background

Thirty-five years in Information Technology. Was part of a recycling startup, Apple service technician, Applications trainer, IT Manager for a Toronto based Package and Retail Design firm, and have owned my own consulting and web development business for over 20 years.

What I do at We Animals Media (WAM)

IT consulting, and website development and maintenance.

Favourite movie/book (or both)

Film: ‘Blade Runner’. Book: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Live music, writing SciFi.

If I were an animal (other than a human), I would be… because…

A Dog – according to the Chinese Zodiac, I’m a metal dog, and seriously, have you met a dog? Best animal ever!

I was part of a startup that developed and built a working scale prototype of a system for recycling disposable diapers in the early 90’s.

Guilty pleasure

British chocolate, no guilt involved.

If I had a superpower, it would be…

Teleportation – be anywhere, anytime, to hang out with anyone, with no time lost, and no environmental impact. Who could ask for anything more?
