24 Hour Vigil with Anita Krajnc of Toronto Pig Save

Our WorkShort Films – 24 Hour Vigil

Anita Krajnc, co-founder of Toronto Pig Save, became an activist while walking her dog, when she came face to face with hundreds of pigs inside transport trucks on their way to slaughter.
What started as a small group of individuals holding signs and handing out vegan pamphlets on the truck routes has become the worldwide Save Movement, centered on the idea of bearing witness. This film tells the story of bearing witness and animal advocacy at slaughterhouses in Toronto during a 24-hour vigil in 2015, wherein amidst the horror, a small miracle took place.
